Pre/suffixes in relation to upgrade items - Guild Wars Forums

For sword upgrades, is one type always a prefix and the other always a suffix? I have a Fiery Sword of Endurance (one fire upgrade, one health upgrade) but I can't remember which was a pommel and which was a hilt, so I'm wondering if the hilt is always a prefix, for example.

Anyone know?
